Has anyone played any of the soccer games for Wii? I have PES 2008 & I am thinking about getting PES 2010. Online play wasn't bad in 08 when I played someone with an english name. Most of my opponents had a spanish name and some lag so I always assumed they were in Europe or Central/South America.

I played against 1 guy 3 times the other night, he was from the UK. There was a little lag but the game handles lag mych better then Madden. I really like how after the first match, he was able to start a rematch almost immediatly and then after our 3rd match, I set him up as a rival so I can easily find him again.
If anyone hears of a Wii PES 2010 league, let me know, I think that would be fun.

I have FIFA 10. It's a fun game, but the inability to change the time periods can be frustrating. You play for about five minutes and the game is over. Never played PES, but I heard its pretty cool. Might have to check it out.

When I first bought PES 2008, I read the reviews of both and PES scored higher on all of the critics and readers reviews. If you like soccer, you should like PES 2010, also it appears to have an in depth single player modes but I doubt I will get that far in it. The graphics are slightly better in 2010 then 08 but I can see the logos on a lot of the teams now, I like that.

I was googling, looking for a PES 2010 league and I found a link by Konami to check on server issues and connectivity between me and the server. I think this would be cool for other games to have similar tools. www.konami.jp/we/online/

I found this site before via Google, www.pesrankings.com. It mostly has PS3 & xBox players on it but I was just looking at it for the heck of it and there are actual Wii players on there, woo hoo. Too many video games, so little time.
