Are there any fans of the Canadian Football League here? I know there are some Canucks but sometimes even Canadians aren't fans of the league. I'd also like to know if any football fans south of the border caught any CFL games on the NFL Network this season. 14 or so games were aired.
Well...the regular season ended a couple weeks ago and the divisional playoffs were today.
East Final Montreal Alouettes - 48 Toronto Argonauts - 17
West Final Saskatchewan Roughriders - 20 Calgary Stampeders - 16
So the Roughriders and Alouettes do battle on Sunday in the big game. They met in the game last year where Montreal won on a last second field goal. This season kicked off with a rematch of last year's championship game and Saskatchewan won 54-51 in overtime. This week's match should be a dandy!
Being from Saskatchewan, I'm a massive Roughriders fan. I've got my tickets for the game and so do 60-some odd thousand people to sell out Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton. I cannot wait for the game! I experienced the heartbreak in person last year and hope to feel elation this time around! Last year was especially bad because Montreal had missed the first field goal attempt but Saskatchewan was flagged for too many men on the field giving Montreal another chance. I hope we can avenge that loss!
Any predictions? Interest? Fans? I'm not sure if anyone's interested but there should be numerous online streams. I know this week's games were on espn3.com

The CFL gets very little airplay in the US. Sometimes a highlight on ESPN Sportscenter, friday night on NFL Network and a game on Sirius. I know some of the teams but I don't know any of the players.
