I don't really like NCAA football. Maybe it's because I'm not in college Or maybe it's just because UCONN football sucks. I was impressed that they even made a bowl game this year. I've always liked the Madden games better anyway.

I just hope that there isn't too much lag. Running the option will be impossible if the pitch command doesn't respond immediatly.

This is EXCITING news. For years, since NCAA first came out on Gamecube, I have played the game religiously using two schools - University of Houston and the ficticious Northern Maine University Eagles (NMEU). I was so into it that each season I would painstakingly transfer my whole roster into the next edition. So, short story short, although I havent played it in awhile, I am seriously like nearly 15 seasons deep. I love that game. I'll love it even more on the Wii.
But don't forget - the first series on a new system usually is weak. Let's hope this is an exception to the truth.

It would be even better if the Wii gets some sort of HDD add on. Otherwise importing an NCAA Draft class onto Madden '09 will require memory cards of some sort.

I'm pretty sure it could be done with the Wii's built-in memory... There's no reason they shouldn't be able to make Madden 09 able to import information from the NCAA 09 save file.

It would be interesting if we tried a 10-20 person NCAA league. We could even do a Coaches' Poll each week (of course, that would give everyone reason to try to run up the score).

that is if it is online
the first Wii Madden game didn't have online play, so there is a chance they'll not put online play

It would be interesting if we tried a 10-20 person NCAA league. We could even do a Coaches' Poll each week (of course, that would give everyone reason to try to run up the score). I claim Wisconsin right now!

I love college football, I like it way better than pro football, but sports games on the Wii just haven't been that good yet. Plus the cover isn't going to be an athlete, it's going to be a mascot, you can vote on the official site.
