seems like the ppl who got their Wii's closer to launch date SSBB doesn't work, so you have to send your Wii and SSBB to Nintendo to repair it......

there's a website where you can submit for a repair order form, but im on the Wii typing this so i can't post it

Wow. That sounds bad. I got my Wii in May of last year, several months after launch. Is it affected by the issues?

Did the game ask you to update your wii before booting it?

I have 2 Wiis that in my home that I bought at launch. They both have no problems with Brawl.

sry, found out that the scanner thingy is dirty and since the brawl disc is double layered it has problems starting
but i did get it to work
