I like music. Lots of it. More specifically, I like Metallica, Black Label Society, Godsmack, Stars, Sufjan Stevens, HelloGoodbye, and Fleetwood Mac. At least those are my current favourites. What does everyone else listen to? (And yes, all of the formatting was necessary)

i listen to the same stuff as everybody else, although no body listed Alice in Chains, Iced Earth i dont think, and
TESTAMENT - the most underrated metal band of all time, actually the best metal band of all time according to metal-rules.com
3 Inches of Blood - the only new band from the past couple of years i like, and i like them even more since i met them at ozzfest, the guys are cool as hell and sound amazing live

Canadian metal! I met the singer at Ozzfest and they were so bad ass (their performance). Love those guys.

yeah we went over and met 3, they had vancouver canucks shirts on and i like how they rock the playoff beards, cam pipes sounds exactly how he does on the cd, i dont know how he sings so high, but we went and met them at ozzfest too, their the nicest guys, i actually talked to their one guitarist for a while about different amps, we asked about their one singer because he was missing they said he blew his voice out right before ozzfest which broke the ice, and then me and my friend talked to them for a good 5-10 minutes about local venues and equipment and the set list for ozzfest, it was the highlight of my day

I hate you guys. I wish I could have gone down to Seattle for Ozzfest. I wanted to. But that whole parents needing to consent for me to leave the country thing. Yeah. Damn.

has anyone else heard the new Iced Earth promotional thing "overture of the wicked" i couldnt find it in stores so i downloaded it and lets just say "wow"
i think it is the best they have sounded so far, it consists of 4 songs 3 of them remakes of the ending trilogy from Something Wicked This Way Comes
this single has only gotten me excited for their new cd which comes out 9/11 in the states, not sure the name of it, but i advise everyone to check it out, Tim "Ripper" Owens in on vocals for the second straight album and he sounds killer from what i heard
