JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars have failed to sell out a home game for the fourth time this season. Sunday's game against Kansas City (1-6) will not be televised in Jacksonville or in secondary markets that include Gainesville, Daytona Beach, Orlando and Savannah, Ga. The Jaguars (3-4) set a franchise low for attendance (42,088) in their last home game, Oct. 18 against St. Louis. This one could break the mark. Jaguars owner Wayne Weaver has made it clear the small-market franchise doesn't anticipate selling out any home games in 2009, although team officials hope they might avoid a blackout when Indianapolis visits Dec. 17. About 17,000 fans opted not to renew their season tickets this year, many citing the economic climate. Source: sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4626169--------------- I read another article saying that the Jags have the lowest average attendance in terms of percentage. They are being Oakland and Detroit who have had terrible on-field product the last few years so that's understandable. Another question they brought up was...is Jacksonville a viable football market? Rumors are flying around that that new stadium in LA got approval and the Jaguars could be the leading candidate for relocation.

They should move to Orlando and become the "Breakers."

They are likely to go to LA once the new stadium is built. They are the only team in the league that covers up thousands of seats in the upper deck and still can not sell out.

Aw man, someone told me an NFL team might possibly come to Connecticut... just a rumor and they were probably kidding but I wish I could remember which one they said... I wish the Pats ended up coming to Hartford, that would have been pretty awesome. I've never been to an NFL game in my life. All the pro sports got booted out of CT... we need the Whalers back! lol
