There is a waiting list in my brain. If E30Rock decides that he doesn't want to play anymore, I guess you'd get them in that event. This is kind of awkward though (especially for him); its like you're waiting for him to quit so you can use his team. Do you know what I mean? Its not like this is a parking spot at the mall, haha.
If you're like "hey, I want to be the Bears when they come into the league," we'd say "ok, you can do that," and then instead of making the Bears available to new people, we'd say "hey, Jets are open." Get it?
Now..did you still want to be the Titans and/or Ravens, too? (Also, this thread shouldn't be confused with non-League members waiting to get in..)
I know that when we shrunk the league down and mdxle4 went to Denver, he gave up Seattle. I'm pretty sure he's making that move back once they reenter the league. Is everyone else satisfied with their current teams (for now..)?
My vision of this league is a more dynasty feel to it, where people aren't hopping around. I have no problem (not sure how Travis feels, but I think its close to what I'm saying) with a person or two switching each year, or trading head-to-head; but I don't want to see everything getting wiped clean and starting over. I FULLY plan on being the Bills for the extent of my WiiMFL stay (and I don't plan on leaving anytime soon, haha), and I hope that a lot of you other guys plan on playing as your current teams for a lengthy time as well.
(Note: Travis isn't going to kick you out if you don't like your team. We'll figure something out. If you're embarrassed or don't want to talk about it here, PM myself and/or MasterSandman II.)

Haha Schulz24, I'm not a chiefs fan. I want to stay with the Jets as of now. I don't want to be switching teams a lot. If E30Rock doesn't want the Redskins some random day. I will take the gladly take the Redskins. If he doesn't want them anymore, ect.

I actually would rather use the Titans than the Jets. I want to be on the waiting list for them. Could you put me on the Waiting list for them? Titans or Redskins.

The Titans are scheduled for about 4 seasons from now. It'll be a while. It is incredibly amazing that you're the only person in the entire league vocally looking to switch teams. Haha, isn't that weird??
--With the current state of the league, and e30Rock's love for the 'Skins, you actually have a better shot at the Titans. Assuming we get there in time (before Madden '11), the Titans will probably be yours (as no one else has voiced an interest in the Titans). Congratulations!!..

Oh, cool. I was wondering, why do we have to bring some of the bad teams in the league that no one wants to be? I know you have it all planned out. Why wouldn't we just bring all of the good teams in first, then the worst teams. I think you have the Browns and Chiefs coming in next season. Why not bring the Ravens, Titans or the Packers before those bad teams? Wouldn't more people join the league if we have the better teams available? We should bring the better teams in the league before the worst teams are available. When only the bad teams are left, a player will join because of how great the league is, even though the teams that are available are bad. I'm pretty sure the league would grow faster if we did something like that. What do you think about it?

I don't want to get into a fight about this.. --Do you realize what you just said? You want us to make "good" teams available this coming season so more people join, and then the "bad" teams later. Sooo...what happens after this season when there are only "bad" teams left, as you put them? Wouldn't nobody join THEN?
All the teams that aren't here had some sort of Season 5 stigma attached to them (for example, the entire NFC North was barftastic one way or another last year; Tennessee just left the league, the Ravens franchise was discontinued, etc), and the teams that we kept were ones that people returned with. The league was realigned around the 15 remaining people, and one lucky guy who made his Week 1 WiiMFL debut this year (you).
The sole exceptions of new teams were Lou moving to Houston from Tennesse for storyline purposes, and mdxle from Seattle to Denver for divisional purposes. As I've told you before, its been mapped out already up to 32 teams. And those "bad" teams that are coming in next year; the people who are taking them don't care WHO they get to play as, as long as they get to play. Gotta love that spirit! Don't worry about Season 7. We're all set for that, and more. Ands its going to be a lot fun doing it.
You're new to this (and I am, too), but believe me when I tell you that you can't expand an entire league over night. It needs to be nurtured, and it needs to grow at its own speed. Theres a great foundation in place, and as you build, that becomes part of the foundation, too. You can't say "alright, be 32 teams now!" If you do that, you get 16 brand new people who don't know what the heck they're doing (they might have communication problems, they don't like doing stats, they're not active, etc), or maybe 10 of them who decide "you know what? maybe this isn't for me," or 4 of them who decide "I can't make the playoffs? LAME," or 2 of them who are like "I'm not cheap! I'm TOO skilled!! Ya'll can't hang!!" Then we're back at 16, or maybe less because some people quit (this happened last year; players who've been with the WiiMFL for multiple seasons were basically driven out by Season 5 garbage players).
You're obsessed with switching things up, which is weird because you're the ONLY person who has said anything about moving teams (none of the returning players have made a peep). Remember what I told you about those new people being possibly problematic?
Point proven.

Yes, barftastic. There was drama surrounding each and every team. Some more than others. --Talk to Travis about that "next season" thing. Not my call..

I wasn't talking about bringing 32 teams into the league. I said in the previous post that when only the "bad" teams are left, people would join beacause of how great the league is. If Titans or Redskins are not available next season, I most likely wont be switching teams. We don't want people switching teams. No body wants that. I just want to find a team that I like using. When the team I want to use is available, I will gladly stay with the same team. That seems to be a long way away though. I will probably be staying with the Jets untill. I like using the Jets, so were good.

hey, can you guys put me on the waiting list for the Minnesota Vikings? This is the wrong thread. You need the waiting list for the LEAGUE first of all. SPEEDER shouldn't have posted anything to begin with since we've had that same conversation no less than 12 times already.
