Whats the next great got to have thing?
My choices will be limited to whatever of my bonus check is left after paying some bills.
Last year I bought a 32" Vizio for my bedroom and for my birthday I got a Roku. Now I want to replace it with a 42/46" TV with web apps built in to view Netflix & maybe Hulu. Then the 32" & Roku would go into my office and replace that old CRT TV. I don't know if that would work but its good to have a starting goal.
Also I really don't think 3d TV is worth it now. There isn't enough 3d shows and I do not want to wear 3d glasses over my glasses.

I honestly don't know what the MUST BUY thing is this year. You seem like you're pretty set up when it comes to to technology.
I agree with you on the 3DTV thing as I'm not sure it's even more than a fad. Will it last? I'm not so sure! The people who come up with this technology are pretty stubborn though and will continue to push it.
How about an iPad?

The few times I have played with one, they are very cool but so expensive. If I get one, I am sure the family will try to use it all of the time so I would need to get more then 1. I don't know if the other Readers/Slates would be a good alternative.
I have 5 laptops in my house including my work laptop so I have plenty of opportunity to be online. I have thought about a decent NetPC to plug into my big screen so I can watch ESPN 3 games on there. A friend does that for Netflix & Hulu. I still don't think the video quality is good enough when I plug a laptop in to make it worth it to me.
A Sonos system would be awesome but it costs too much.
Replacing a DVD player with a BlueRay that could do Netflix or Hulu Plus in 1080p might be interesting. I have read some reviews where some aren't very good so I need to research that better.

I have been reading online about ereaders, the Kindle & Nook. The WiFi Kindle is less the $150 and with the freeware Calibre software I can get the Newspapers for free and convert and ebooks from my library to the Kindle format. Plus there are a lot of free titles out there besides the old books from before 1930.
Anyone have a Kindle, Nook, Sony or other ereader?

Sunday I went out to eat with my family, my parents and my brothers family to celebrate his wife's birthday. I went to a different Barnes & Nobles to play with the Color Nook and to see what the rep would say. The whole time my daughter is telling me not to buy one, its terrible, I'll hate it, etc... We go to dinner and I fail the 1 giant burger that the guy from Man VS Food ate 3.5 of them. The next night, my wife let the girls open a gift and they were talking about the Color Nook and my wife gave it to me early. For a reader, its great, to be like an Ipod, it has a way to go so hopefully the updates the articles talk about will work.
Calibre is great to get free newspapers and it works on sites like ProFootballTalk, the only issue is its a bit techie to do what i did but its great when I am stuck at my daughters swim practice/Meets.

How big was the burger? I've eaten a big burger twice. I think it was 2 pounds?
